Our project addresses the lack of evidence-based, multidomain mHealth interventions for persons with SCI that integrate all six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine (physical activity, nutrition, stress, sleep, relationships, substance abuse).

Situation

This study aims at understanding the needs, the use, and the implementation of a multidomain lifestyle mHealth intervention among persons with SCI. In this feasibility study, the developed app includes all six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine that German-speaking people with SCI can use in the time after initial rehabilitation. The content regarding physical activity/respiration, nutrition, stress, sleep, relationships, and substance abuse is specifically tailored to the needs of people with SCI.

Feasibility study using a mixed methods sequential explanatory design and a user-centred approach.
