CV

  • My passion is to inspire individuals, organizations, and policymakers to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). As a professor of DEI and as the co-head of the center for DEI at the Berne University of Applied Sciences (BFH), I am deeply committed to this mission. I also serve as an external lecturer at HSLU and FHNW and work as an an indipendend organizational developer, consultant, and expert on social and gender equity.
    I bring a PhD in sociology (University of Fribourg CH and Hagen DE) focused on gender equality in Swiss policy and organizations, and training in organizational development. Beginning in 2025, I will lead a CAS at BFH titled "Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion through Organizational Development," aimed at empowering participants to lead successful DEI-focused change projects.
    I lecture on DEI, sustainability, new work in HRM, social policy, gender and diversity management, and equal pay, and I am passionate about supporting students in their development and guiding BA, MA, and PhD theses. My research interest include DEI in HRM, DEI in change management, gender equity, gender pay gap, family-friendly working conditions, unpaid care work and race, gender, and social equity in social assistance.
