Key points at a glance
-
The new module starts in the autumn semester 2026.
- It focuses on key social competencies such as trust, communication, conflict resolution, and community-building.
- The aim is to prepare students for the growing importance of relational skills in a world shaped by AI.
Focus on relationship and community skills
The course is based on the belief that in an increasingly technologized world with growing automation through AI, social and relational skills are becoming especially important. These include, among others, building trust, communicating effectively, managing conflicts, and shaping communities.
Current studies suggest that younger generations in particular have fewer in-person interactions in their daily lives, which in some cases leads to difficulties in developing stable social competencies. The new module addresses exactly this issue and frames relational skills as fundamental life competencies – not only in a professional context, but also for personal development and participation in society.
The module was initiated by Jeremy Henrichs with support from Prof. Dr. Stefan Grösser and Prof. Dr. Jörg Grimm. Starting in the fall, Jeremy Henrichs will not only teach his modules in Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Innovation, and Marketing and Product Management, but will also show how to build strong relationships, foster trust, and develop vibrant communities – skills that are becoming increasingly important in a world shaped by AI. The program is complemented by international guest lecturers. Interest in the module is already high, and students can register their interest for the limited number of places.
