Digital Sustainability Lab
The Digital Sustainability Lab (DSL) promotes digital and innovative capabilities in the public sector.
We are a young team of developers, designers and researchers who tackle the digital challenges facing the public sector. Through collaborative software development projects, we create solutions that are not only technically sustainable, but also socially and environmentally sustainable.
Julia Mia Stirnemann is our UI/UX and data visualisation expert, who helps us design solutions that are user-friendly, inclusive and aesthetically appealing. This enables us to strengthen trust and transparency between citizens and public authorities.
Marcel Gygli's expertise lies in the field of artificial intelligence in the application of large language models. He advocates for responsible use and implements projects that utilise AI in a transparent and resource-efficient manner.
Our goal
We want to create an innovative public sector that is bold enough to take on the challenges of the future. Do you?
Whether innovative prototypes, user-friendly web platforms or interactive data visualisations – our expertise ranges from conception to implementation, from UI/UX to complete software development. We place particular emphasis on sustainability, accessibility and responsibility in the use of digital solutions.
With consulting services on digitalisation strategy, open source, data science, machine learning, and practical workshops on digital skills and AI, we offer not only solutions but also the necessary know-how to succeed in the digital transformation.
