Sexual Harassment Awareness Day 2024 25 April 2024

There is no place for sexism and sexual harassment at BFH – the new regulations on the protection of personal integrity make this clear. What does this mean in concrete terms for students, staff, lecturers and managers? An online panel provides the most important answers.

25.04.2024, 12pm–1pm – Microsoft Teams

As part of the Sexual Harassment Awareness Day, BFH is organising a panel discussion on sexism and sexual harassment together with the Universities of Bern Counselling Centre. Based on an exemplary case and illustrated with concrete example situations, you will learn more about the topic, who you can turn to for advice and support and what options or obligations you have. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

Taking part in the discussion:

  • Mirjam Zeiter, psychotherapist, confidential contact person for sexual harassment at the Bern University Counselling Centre
  • Yves Abelin, Head of Legal Services BFH, Chairman of the Clarification Centre for the Protection of Personal Integrity at BFH

Moderator: Jaromir Bregy, research assistant in the General Secretariat of BFH, responsible for the topic "Protection of personal integrity"

The discussion will be held in German. Questions can also be asked in French and English.
