Apprenticeship
During the apprenticeship, rather than teaching digital methods through elective subjects or specialisations, we make them an integral component of the entire course.
In the bachelor’s degrees (architecture, civil engineering, wood technology), students learn to use digital planning tools and their interfaces, as well as how to apply them in projects that sometimes involve interdisciplinary collaboration. All courses of study use the same digital model wherever possible. Integrated planning, coordination and content-related communication are important soft skills that are learned along the way.
In the master’s degree, foundational principles are looked at in greater depth and applied in more complex contexts in collaboration with research.
In the Advanced Federal Diploma at the Higher Technical School of Wood Biel, students can take the Basic Module in collaboration with the CRB, a centre of excellence for standards in the construction and real-estate sectors, to obtain the “buildingSMART Individual Qualification”.
