Euresearch Office

The latest European research and innovation programmes of the European Union (Horizon Europe) give more importance to the participation and collaboration of companies from European or associated countries. Businesses can receive EU funding and support for innovation projects to help them develop and expand to European countries and beyond.

Companies in Horizon Europe

Companies can take part in an EU project as long as they fit into one of the following Horizon Europe Work Programmes. For more information, ask your Euresearch Office BFH.

Horizon Europe also offers specific tools for "small and medium-sized enterprises" (SMEs).
To be considered a SME, a business must be engaged in an economic activity and must have:

Fewer than 250 employees
An annual turnover of no more than €50 million and/or a balance sheet of no more than €43 million

Creating an EU account

Create an EU login on the Funding and Tenders Portal to start your process and apply for funding.

You can verify whether your organisation is already registered and has a PIC on the Funding & Tenders Portal. If not, you can start the registration process on the same page and, once completed, get the PIC to be quoted in your proposal and in any correspondence with the Commission.
