In our research projects and consulting commissions we address the challenges facing the food industry throughout the value chain – from resource production and food processing through to retailing and final consumption. We explore the food science, economic, health and social aspects of each issue and ensure that our output is directly relevant to practice.
Food Value Chain
By cooperating with selected research units of BFH-HAFL’s Agriculture Division we are in a position to address the entire value chain from field to fork. Cooperation with BFH’s School of Health Professions further broadens our scope to encompass food and health aspects.
